With Fresh Faces On The Assembly, Invocation Policy Will Be Debated Again

first_imgSeward’s Assemblywoman Brandii Holdmahl has previously opposed having an invocation at the assembly meetings. Next week’s meeting will be her last, with her replacement to be chosen in March. The ordinance, and appointment vote, will be heard during the Assembly’s February 14th meeting, starting at 6pm in the Borough Assembly Chambers in Soldotna. Dunne is hopeful that the change in the Assembly’s makeup will shift the balance of power and end the prayer debate. The Gilman-Bagley policy is currently the subject of a lawsuit brought by several Kenai Peninsula residents and the ACLU of Alaska. Gilman’s replacement will be one of four candidates: Thomas Randell Daly, Shauna Thornton, Hal Smalley, or Jill Schaefer. K-Beach Assemblyman Gary Knopp was replaced last month by appointee Brent Hibbert.center_img Gilman resigned last month after moving out of his district and is the author of the Assembly’s current invocation policy. Midfielder has ‘entered Southampton’s radar’ – Hasenhüttl will need to be…

first_imgThe midfielder, currently contracted to Torino, was said to be on his way out, with intermediaries reportedly ‘paving the way’ for talks. Both Palace and the Saints were reportedly presented with a chance to sign the player, but neither took it, perhaps because there was still a lot of football to play in the Premier League, and their priorities were elsewhere.Well, fast forward to Tuesday, and it appears the Eagles have dropped out, leaving Southampton as the sole Premier League club interested in the Frenchman. That’s what Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting, explaining that while ‘the chances of a departure from Meïté are almost reduced to zero’, the midfielder has ‘entered Southampton’s radar’.Either way, it seems Ralph Hasenhüttl still has an eye on the 26-year-old, but they’ll have to be very, very convincing to change Torino’s mind.by Taboolaby TaboolaSponsored LinksSponsored LinksPromoted LinksPromoted LinksTrending TodayForge of Empires – Free Online GameBuild a City, Trade With Your Neighbors, Play With Your FriendsForge of Empires – Free Online GameUndoNessa HearingPeople in Singapore Born Before 1965 Eligible for Free Hearing Aid TrialNessa HearingUndoDBS”I had S$9 left in my bank account”DBSUndoWealthMastery.asiaThis Singaporean Couple is Disrupting A $3 Trillion IndustryWealthMastery.asiaUndoRaid: Shadow Legends | Free DownloadEven Non-Gamers Are Obsessed With This RPG Game (It’s Worth Installing!)Raid: Shadow Legends | Free DownloadUndoSingtelGet 30GB for $25 on SG’s #1 network.SingtelUndoGOMO by Singtel.Switch to GOMO. 40GB for $20 for 12 months!GOMO by Singtel.UndoTip ParentsBaby Keeps Waking Up With Scratches, Mom Checks Camera And Calls CopsTip ParentsUndoSingtel PowerInstant savings and a $50 rebate.Singtel PowerUndo Earlier this year, back when the transfer window was in its early stages, Crystal Palace and Southampton were reportedly interested in Soualiho Meïté.last_img read more
