Johnson Still To Decide On Keeper

first_imgThe City head coach says it’s likely Fielding will miss the weekend encounter, after the City number one was substituted with a rib complaint against Brentford in midweek.Austrian youngster Ivan Lucic took over between the posts, but utilising the experience of Richard O’Donnell hasn’t been ruled out by Johnson.“There’s a decision to make there still,” the head coach told Bristol City Player HD.“Frankie is still uncomfortable and will have a scan today, but if I was a betting man then I’d probably say he won’t be available to us.“Ivan did well and made a couple of good saves. People will have to get used to his style because he likes to play out from the back and that can appear risky.“Rich got 90 minutes under his belt for the Under-23s on Monday and has the experience of all those games behind him.“It’s interesting one for me. I’ll sit down with my staff and come to a decision, if Frankie isn’t available.”Gary O’Neil continues to nurse a hamstring complaint and is 50/50 for the weekend, while Korey Smith is looking to overcome a stomach complaint.last_img read more
